Writer.

Kingsley Lockhart is a writer of character-driven post-climate change fiction about survival, found family, and hope.

She is putting the finishing touches on her debut novel, Seeds of Tomorrow

Seeds of Tomorrow is a novel set in a Scandinavian landscape reshaped by a climate event known as Snapfall—a sudden global climate catastrophe that fractured society into scattered territories ruled by militias and survivor gangs.

The story follows Kari, a pragmatic salvage-hunter and cold weather survival expert who guides a small found-family on a journey toward hope. Alongside her are Florian, a botanist and idealist whose faith in seeds borders on obsession; Akka, a tech engineer rebuilding her sense of purpose; Marcos, a disillusioned ex-soldier haunted by his past; Ras, a sharp-eyed orphan who sees the group as home; and Min-ji, a medic and defector from a brutal gang.

Their route through ruins, frozen fjords, and fractured communities exposes them to power struggles, moral compromises, and fragile moments of grace. The novel blends survival realism with emotional intimacy, exploring how hope and trust can take root even in a world stripped bare.
